Nick Rose is a 24-year-old artist, songwriter and producer from Connecticut, born in New Britain and raised in Plainville. He is the co-founder and creative director of his independent label, DONT TRIP RECORDINGS LLC.
Growing up with an early passion for music through learning the piano, excelling in Plainville's public school bands, and singing in community choirs, a 12-year-old Nick started freestyling for fun with his classmates at the lunch table. Soon after, he began utilizing his talents as a writer and multi-instrumentalist, inspired by his personal tribulations and love for popular culture, to produce and record original songs from his bedroom.
Since releasing his first full-length demo 'Purple November' in late 2017, Rose has built a colorful, genre-defying catalogue totaling over 75 songs across 6 full-length projects, an EP and several standalone singles. Spearheaded by his most successful 2020 single "Nightmare" garnering over 900,000 streams on Spotify, Rose's music has amassed over 2 million streams across all platforms. With years of experience performing around Connecticut and surrounding states - opening for the likes of Ghostface Killah and Bizarre of D12 - Rose has received praise from publications such as Elevator, Daily Chiefers and EARMILK. In May of 2023, Nick Rose was acknowledged as a notable recording artist in the June Archer School of the Arts' Interactive Music Exhibit at the Connecticut Historical Society & Museum.
Rose currently distributes his music independently in partnership with HRDRV, and is currently attending Charter Oak State College to pursue a B.S. in Business Administration.
